CB4 Village is an initiative from residents of CB4 for residents of CB4 and around to create and experience the feeling of belonging to a known and appreciated neighbourhood where social interactions and, perhaps, business are fostered by personal contacts.

In many villages the local pub tends to be the place where people develop their personal contacts; in the city this is less easy to do because people move around more often and pubs tend to have less appeal to develop the neighbourhood feeling.

The CB4 area, including Histon road and surroundings, has a rich variety of residents that span many different cultures, background, nationalities and languages. A monthly event could be a catalyser for many residents to start new friendships, reinforce the existing ones and get together on a regular basis.
